TO TRINITY BY AIR
You will land at the Lester B. Pearson International Airport. There are two terminals at Pearson that are served by the same taxi (about $49) and airport limousine (about $54) system. Tell the driver we are located directly to the west of Queen's Park, on Hoskin Avenue.
More economically, you can take the TTC airport bus (www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/airport_routes.pdf) from Terminal 1 or 3 to the subway or you can take an airport bus (www.torontoairportexpress.com) from any of the terminals to the downtown bus terminal or to one of several large downtown hotels (one way fare $23.95 and round trip fare $39.95) from where you can then take a taxi or the subway.
If you take the subway, the adult cash fare is $3.00. Ask the ticket-taker to direct you to either the "St. George" or "Museum" stations. (See the subway section, below.)
TO TRINITY BY RAIL
The train stops downtown at Union Station. Follow the TTC signs for the entrance to the Union subway station. The cost of the subway is $3.00 per ride. (See the subway section, below.)

Here are several routes to get you here directly and painlessly.
-
If coming from the EAST take the 401, exit at Avenue Road, drive south. Follow the signs for Highway 5, when you get downtown look for Bloor Street and then on your right the Royal Ontario Museum with its very modern addition pointing towards the sky. Move into the right lane - continue right, onto Hoskin Avenue, and there we are!
-
If coming from the WEST take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) eastbound which becomes the Gardiner Expressway. Exit at Spadina Avenue and go north to Harbord Street, turn right. Go through two traffic lights (Huron Street and St. George Street), Harbord Street then becomes Hoskin Avenue. Trinity College Chapel will be on your left as you reach the next light.
-
If coming from the NORTH you can take the Don Valley Expressway and exit at Bloor Street. Drive west (right from the exit), and either turn left onto Avenue Road or continue along to the street immediately beside the Varsity Stadium (Devonshire Place), also on your left-hand side.
TO TRINITY BY SUBWAY
There are two main lines to the subway system in Toronto. One goes east-west, the north-south.
-
If coming from Pearson or the Island airport, you could be on either line - but take comfort! Both lines take you to the St. George station. Take the east exit (called Bedford Road), exit the station, turn right, walk to Bloor Street, cross the street to Varsity Stadium, turn right and walk down Devonshire Place until you come to Trinity.
-
From the train station, take the "University line" northbound to Museum station. Exit on the west side of the station, and orient yourself so the Royal Ontario Museum is behind you on the right, and ahead of you (to the south) is a park with a war cenotaph. Walk down that sidewalk, which curves onto Hoskin Avenue. There we are, on your right.
-
IF YOU'RE WRESTLING WITH LUGGAGE, here's a tip. Go to the Wellesley station (it's on the Yonge subway line), and take the 94 bus westbound, which will drop you right at our door.
You won't be far away if you take a wrong turn. Torontonians are generally friendly and helpful, and the Transit Commission staff are there to help - just ask for advice if you need it.
