A Message from your Year Reps ...
Cindy Caron Thorburn, Jill Carmichael Adolphe & John Duffy
Dear Classmate,
Spring Reunion is all about, well, reuniting. Come out for a weekend of great events, swapping stories and celebrating the spirit of Trinity!
Twenty-five years is too long to go without seeing each other. That's why we're working hard to organize a great program of events where we can be together, renew friendships and relive good times at our 8T5@25 Celebration, on the weekend of May 28-30. Visit the Trinity Reunion web site to view the program and to learn more.
Great College Events, plus 8T5@25 House Party
Working with the College, we've put together a terrific program in which you can participate as much or as little as you wish. We'd also draw your attention especially to Cindy Caron Thorburn's excellent old-fashioned byob house party. Following the Quad' event Saturday night, 8T5ers and spouses, significant-others and fellow-travelers will gather at Cindy's lovely home -- centrally-located in Moore Park at 343 Inglewood Drive (click here to view map) -- for some good-old Trinity-style cheer. No rap music, no blackberries, just good times the way we all remember them.
Register
The College, and we, would really like a good sense of who will attend, and registration is the most important part of that. So it'd be great if you could simply click here to sign up. There's no obligation, and your info will not be used for any other purpose. Our aim is to have as many people registered as possible so we can have the best possible event so please, take a minute and register.
Spread the Word
The weekend is just two months away, and a lot of work has gone into putting events together. Our key challenge just now is to spread the word and get people registered. Our e-list includes you, but not enough of your friends.
Please ransack your memory (digital and other) for the e-addresses of any classmates with whom you are still in touch, and forward them this note, cc’ing this address: trinity8T5@yahoo.ca. That will enable us to build up the all-important list and get as many registrations as possible for a great event. Below we have included a sample letter that you can use to email your friends to encourage them to come.
Thanks so much for thinking about coming, and for reaching out to your friends. It's been a long time and a relaxed, enjoyable celebration of being still The Salt of the Earth is long overdue.
Thanks for your help in reaching out to classmates. Looking forward to seeing you May 28-29.
