Technical Information

The George Ignatieff Theatre is used for lectures, conferences, symposia, dance productions, musical reviews, dramas, comedy festivals, and music competitions.   Designed as a multi-purpose hall,  its facilities are shared between academic classes and co-curricular activities.  Over the years, we have screened new films, helped Canadian artists release new CDs, been on camera as the "lecture hall" in Atom Egoyan's Ararat, and hosted the Toronto Fringe Festival.

Comprising both theatre professionals and students, the George Ignatieff Theatre crew is constantly working to improve the level of support that  audience members and event organizers enjoy.  With the help of the staff at Trinity, we maintain a high standard of equipment and ensure that events run smoothly for our visitors.   Please ask us to show you around!
