Physical Characteristics

  • Sprung hardwood floor (oak) (black dance floor also available for a fee)
  • Two permanent pillars slightly downstage of the rear wall, form three upstage arches
  • Plywood nailers on the upstage side (back) of the arches can be used to anchor sets
  • White cyclorama wall
  • Motorized projection screen in the ceiling
  • Curtains: black upstage travelers (suitable for onstage crossover) & blue mid-stage main drapes
  • limited wing space stage left and stage right

Set Installation Tips:

  • A clear passage for the projection screen must be maintained at all times.
  • The blue curtains must be able to move freely.  We take them down during the summer for maintenance. Check with us if you intend to use them in July!
  • Be sure to calculate for passage of ladders and blackboards from the stage to the offstage right wing.
  • No nails, screws, or tape may be used on the floor or on the cyclorama wall to anchor sets or secure set decorations.
  • Fastening to the rear of the pillars is permitted. We have a few (2) sandbags.
  • Absolutely no painting or wet paint permitted on the stage or in the auditorium.
