Audio

This audio system has been designed for Sound Reinforcement and Playback in an acoustic lecture hall and is operated by Trinity College staff only. Live bands must provide their own sound systems. Dance companies and singers using recorded music will need to use our monitor speakers to ensure that they can adequately hear the music. All equipment that is brought in by the renter is patched into the existing system ONLY if all necessary connections are provided for hookup and operation of that equipment. Arrangements must be made no later than 14 days in advance.

Mixer:

Soundcraft Si2 (48+4) Digital Mixer

Amplifiers & Speakers:

Four speakers hung from our ceiling canopy provide our main house sound:
Crown CTS1200 for 2 JBL SRX722 L
Crown CTS1220 for 2 JBL MS26

An additional two self-powered speakers are available to dance companies and singers for foldback:
JBL PRX512iMi 12' two-way, self-powered stage monitors

Sources for Playback:

We prefer to load your sounds into our Audio CD for playback through SFX 3.01.
If necessary, we can also use our Denon DN-C635 CD player.

Piano - We no longer have access to a piano. For Grand Piano delivery, please note that there are 16 steps down to stage level. Grand piano delivery/pickup has to be arranged well in advance due to the heavy demand on the room.
