Donating to the Archives

The Trinity College Archives welcomes donations of archival material from friends and alumni. Our Acquisition Policy limits new acquisitions to records that document the history of the College and its extended community,including:

records of campus organizations - faculty, student or alumni associations, groups and societies
papers of faculty, staff or other individuals that document the life of the College
archival records collected by organizations or individuals that document the life of the College

If a donation is accepted, the donor is asked to sign a Deed of Gift that will govern the conditions of the donation. Donations will be appraised for monetary value and a tax receipt will be issued.

For financial donations to assist the Trinity College Archives in fulfilling its mandate and long-term goals, the George W. Spragge Fund was established in 1999.

The Rolph-Bell Archivist would be pleased to discuss donations of funds or gifts in kind.
