Trinity College Annual Book Sale

A large Annual Book Sale is held by the Friends of the Library every October in Seeley Hall at Trinity College.  Funds raised through the Book Sale support many projects and activities of Trinity's John W. Graham Library. The annual revenue from book sales in recent years has reached or exceeded $120,000.

The Friends' Book Sale features some 100,000 donated books sorted into 60 academic and popular categories. Prices range from $2 to hundreds of dollars for rarities and other treasures.

Location:
Seeley Hall, Trinity College, 6 Hoskin Avenue, Toronto (close to Museum and St. George subway stations)

Dates & Times:

Opening night: Thursday, October 18, 4 pm - 9 pm: admission charge $5.

No admission charge after opening night.
Friday, October 19, 10 am - 8 pm
Saturday, October 20, 10 am - 8 pm
Sunday, October 21, Noon - 8 pm
Monday, October 22, 10 am - 8 pm

Payment options available:
Credit (VISA, MC, AMEX), debit cards and personal cheques (with adequate identification).

Book Donations

The Book Sale Committee seeks donations of books throughout the year and volunteer help with book pick-up, sorting, pricing and other work preceding and during the Sale. Books should be packed in cartons that are not too heavy (sealed if they are dropped off at the College).

Note: We do not accept rummage sale remains, most school or public library discards, magazines, Reader's Digest condensed books, most general encyclopedias, or books with significant underlining or in otherwise poor condition. 

How to donate:

Drop-offs: Books packed in sealed cartons may be dropped off at the west entrance behind the chapel in the main Trinity building.
Pick-ups: Call the Friends at 416-978-6750 and leave a message to arrange for pick-up.
