Classics Reference Guide
Site devoted to classical resources at the University of Chicago Library. Includes links to online journals, full text resources in Greek, Latin, and Near Eastern languages (including Hebrew), and e-reference works. Some restrictions to UofC clientele apply.

Diotima
Searchable site devoted to materials for the Study of Women and Gender in the Classical World. Includes bibliographies, images, anthology, essays, and Perseus. Content broader than suggested by the title.

University of Toronto Classics Department

The Internet Classics Archive
Select from a list of 441 works of classical literature by 59 different authors, including user-driven commentary and "reader's choice" Web sites. Mainly Greco-Roman works all in English translation.

Oxford Text Archive
Archived texts from a variety of literary traditions available for download and purchase. Distributes more than 2000 resources in over 20 different languages, and is actively working to extend its catalogue of holdings. Searchable by author and title. Includes Greek, Latin, and Hebrew texts.

Perseus Project
Site devoted to assembling e-texts of classical literature. Texts are arranged by author and may be searched or browsed in Greek and English. Perseus is an evolving digital library, engineering interactions through time, space, and language. Seeks to bring a wide range of source materials to as large an audience as possible. The project's mission is to provide greater accessibility to the sources for the study of the humanities in the belief that this will strengthen the quality of questions, lead to new avenues of research, and connect more people through through the connection of ideas. Version 2.0 is available in CD-ROM format in the Graham Library (see below).

ProjectGutenberg
A collection of e-texts files searchable by author or title, or language including Greek, Hebrew, and Latin.

Project Libellus
Provides a library of classical Latin (and Greek) texts. Located at the University of Washington, Seattle. Seeks to make available fairly good-quality texts at no cost, rather than guaranteed top quality texts. The texts are either those donated (or released into the public domain) by the editor, or those whose copyright has expired, and so are in the public domain. Texts arranged by author. Includes learning tools and other links.
