UNCOMMON WORSHIP
To what extent should the design and layout of the room in which we worship reflect the current theology and mission of its parish community? The Very Rev. Richard Giles, dean of Philadelphia Cathedral, will consider the possibilities for new types of worship through renewed liturgical space in three keynote addresses at the 22nd Divinity Associates Conference June 26 to 28. His talks on the conference theme “Creating Uncommon Worship” will be interspersed by workshops on the unrealized vision of the Church behind the 20th-century revisions of the Book of Common Prayer.
