  WHAT'S ON
A Provostial Podcast

Provost Margaret MacMillan ’66 will give a talk in the Great Hall of Hart House on Monday, Oct. 16 at 7.30 p.m. to officially launch her much-anticipated new book, Nixon in China: The Week That Changed the World.

Drawing on newly available material from the United States and China, as well as interviews with all major survivors, Nixon in China re-examines the former U.S. president’s historic meeting with Mao Tse-tung in February 1972, and also the extraordinary cast of characters involved in “the week that changed the world.”

Tickets ($5) are available through the U of T Bookstore Reading Series on-line or at (416) 640-5836. For more information, go to: events.uoftbookstore.com/

However, alumni may also attend virtually through a podcast. To sign up for the podcast, please register for the free UofT Bookstore Reading Series e-mailing list. When the webcast comes online, subscribers will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to view it. Just go to events.uoftbookstore.com/subscription/
