MACMILLAN IN AMERICA
On the heels of a successful cross-Canada book tour and a Gelber nomination for Nixon in China, Margaret MacMillan will visit several U.S. cities in February following the U.S. release of her new book on the fateful February 1972 meeting between Richard Nixon and Mao Tse-tung.
Alumni in the following centres are invited to hear the Provost discuss the book, titled Nixon and Mao in the U.S. Unless otherwise stated, in each location there will be a 20- to 30-minute book talk, followed by a Q & A session and book-signing. In New York, Boston and Los Angeles there will be receptions where alumni will gather with former classmates and the Provost.
