Director Atom Egoyan (Trinity, 1982) has won numerous prizes at international film festivals including the Grand Prix and International Critics Awards from the Cannes Film Festival and two Academy Award nominations. In 2005, his latest film, Where The Truth Lies, had its world premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival and its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. His 2004 production of Wagner’s opera, Die Walküre, was remounted with the full Ring Cycle for the opening of the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in September 2006.
