  WHAT'S NEW

QUO AND QUID IS THE QUAD?
The Trinity quadrangle will disappear this summer. It quite literally will be "under" development, as Aldershot Landscape Contractors Limited transforms it into a contemplative space built in the style of a medieval knot garden. There will be minimal disruption. All entrances to the College will remain open except Henderson Tower from Philosophers' Walk. Those renting summer residence rooms will be housed primarily at St. Hilda's. Seeley Hall is available for weddings, and the front garden and the green space between the Larkin building and the Munk Centre will be accessible for photography. Seeley, as well as other rooms, can be rented for meetings. The new design by Toronto architectural firm gh3, featuring paving stones that will span the quad in a gothic tracery pattern, will be completed before the beginning of the fall term.
