  WHAT'S ON

KIDDING AROUND
Oh, to be young again, and preferably under 13. On Sunday, Oct. 28, Trinity College is sponsoring two exciting events for children and their parents, grandparents and friends.

Following on the heels of Particles of Narrative, Trinity's sold-out children's literature conference featuring renowned author Philip Pullman, the College presents four acclaimed children's authors who will read from their new books to children eight and up. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the brunch that follows the readings.

Then, for families with younger children who love all things repulsive, Reptilia will offer a demonstration of cold-blooded vertebrates at the annual Halloween costume party. Also on offer are crafts, refreshments and treats. Make a day of it (if you dare), or select one. RSVP: Julia Paris (details below).
