Preparation is in motion for the 33rd annual Trinity College book sale, organized and operated by the Friends of the Library. The sale will take place in Seeley Hall October 24 to 28.

Since the inception of the sale, which raises in the order of $140,000 annually, the Friends have been able to contribute more than $3 million in support of the library. Recently, the organization pledged a further $1 million to the Strength to Strength Endowment campaign to help endow the librarian’s position.

Mounting each sale involves a massive, year-long volunteer effort. For information about joining The Friends of the Library, helping with the annual book sale, or having donations of used books picked up for the sale, please telephone the Friends at 416-978-6750 and leave a message.
