 CONVERSATIONS WITH THE CHANCELLOR

Following the success of the inaugural Conversation with (Retired) General Rick Hillier, Chancellor Bill Graham launches his new series with another special guest, the Rt. Hon. Paul Martin, Prime Minister of Canada from 2003 to 2006.

In his autobiography, Hell or High Water, published late last year, Mr. Martin spoke candidly about his family, his business career and his life in politics. This Conversation will take up the story where the book left off.

Join us for a spirited and wide-ranging dialogue between these two friends – law school classmates and Cabinet colleagues – as the former Prime Minister speaks about the issues and interests that keep him actively engaged both in Canada and abroad.

Among his continuing passions – Canada’s role in creating new, international bodies that reflect today’s global challenges; our continuing obligations in Africa and the wider world; and here at home, the need for solutions to the crises facing our Aboriginal citizens.
