The Ultimate Location

Approximately 425 students live in the College’s two residences, Trinity and St. Hilda’s. The community consists of first-year and upper-year students, students from the Arts and Science, Music, and Engineering Faculties and from Trinity's Faculty of Divinity, as well as the Dons, the Dean of Students and the Provost.

Trintiy College Back Field and Residence

Both residence buildings are co-ed with separate areas for men and women. The floors are a mix of upper-year and first-year students, with about 50 per cent of our first-year students being assigned single rooms. The St. Hilda’s Residence (approximately 210 students) has full kitchens or kitchenettes on every floor and has the Rigby Room, the Stedman Library, the Abbott Room and the Adams Room for studying and group meetings. The Trinity Residence encloses the Quadrangle (a great place for relaxing in the sunshine) and is the location of the Junior Common Room (JCR), where student social events, debates and club meetings take place. The Trinity Residence has a gym, the St. Hilda's Residence has a computer centre and both buildings have music practice rooms.

Being in residence can be a wonderful chance to meet new people from all over the globe with a range of interests and pursuits. Living on campus provides students with the opportunity to more easily combine academic excellence with the extra-curricular activities that form a well-rounded university experience and to create friendships that will last for years.
