Warning!  6T8 Milestone fast approaching our planet!!

Did we catch you off-guard?  Well then, time to do the MATH!  Yes it really was almost 50 years ago that we arrived at Trinity as innocent young “frosh” ready for “molding” before being turned out into the world to go our separate ways.  Yes, we know that’s unbelievable!    And yes, it has been 5 years (can’t be!!!) since we last celebrated the longevity of our alum relationships with a formal reunion.  So let’s face the fact that it WILL be 45 years after graduating that classmates of 6T8 reunite on June 1st.  But no worries and NO inhibitions- we’ve all signed the pact that declares we greet one another with a convincing, “YOU HAVEN’T CHANGED A BIT”!!

Once again, Trinity College has planned a Reunion Weekend crammed with activities, including the Quad Garden party and buffet supper Sat June 1. You’ll all want to sign up for that so that you can check out the fabulous newly completed restoration of Strachan Hall and the kitchen/servery renovations!

6T8 has taken on a class fund-raising project to help cover the over $4 million in costs for this Restoration of our beloved Hall with so many fond memories attached.  If we raise $5,000 together, a Strachan Hall table will be designated as a gift from the “Class of 6T8”!   Immortalized forever in the dining hall!!  Let’s see if we can do it!!

As they’ve done many times before, Michael and Sheila Royce have graciously invited the  6T8 gang to enjoy a  more “intimate” gathering afterwards at their Dunvegan Rd. home  (also newly renovated!) where you can all catch up with old friends and let them know what’s been going on with you .

Please get your registration forms filled out and submitted to Trinity as soon as possible so that we know how many to plan for when organizing our special 6T8 After Party.   What an exciting time we’re going to have.    Can’t wait to see you all again!

Your dedicated alumni representatives,

Sheila Royce, Bill Westfall and Mary Kirk
