Please refer to www.fees.utoronto.ca/session/fallwinter1011/reginstruct.htm or page 53 of your Registration Handbook & Timetable for information on the payment/deferral deadline.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM ALL YOUR COURSES!

Deferral of Fees

You may NOT defer current session fees until arrears from previous sessions have been paid.

IF YOU APPLIED FOR OSAP OR OTHER GOVERNMENT STUDENT AID, YOU MAY DEFER ONLINE.

For Ontario students, allow 3 days from receipt of your OSAP Notice of Assessment then login to ROSI and follow the instructions.  If your deferral application is successful, your status should change from "INVIT" to "REG".  Out-of-province students should fax their assessment material along with name, student number and faculty/college of registration to UT Admissions & Awards (fax: 416-978-7022).  Allow 3 days for processing then defer online.

If you cannot pay at least the minimum payment for any other reason, or if you are unable to defer online, please contact the Bursar's Office BEFORE the above deadline to arrange a deferral.

You must supply documentation supporting your deferral request, including the method and timing of payment (e.g. scholarship letter, third party sponsorship, staff or dependent waiver form).

Overdue payment charges

INTEREST WILL BE CHARGED ON ALL OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS, EVEN IF A DEFERRAL HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED. Interest is calculated at 1 1/2% per month compounded monthly (19.56% per year) from October 15 and first assessed on November 15.

Tuition Fees and Refund Schedules

Refer to www.fees.utoronto.ca for tuition fee and refund schedules.  Refund cheques are mailed by U of T to your ROSI address or deposited directly to your bank account.
