Master of Divinity (Collaborative Learning Model)

The Faculty of Divinity offers students the option of a 'collaborative learning model' M.Div. program. Before the end of the first year of study, interested students who have a very good academic record and a demonstrated ability in time management may apply to direct their own program of study. This program option is offered particularly for those who wish to specialize in an area of study, those who already have demonstrated competence in one or more areas of the study of divinity or those who wish to work toward a specialized ministry competence. Students should always be mindful of church ordination requirements.

Admission to the collaborative program is by permission of the Committee of the Teaching Staff and subject to annual review. The program is administered by the Director of Basic Degree Studies.

Formal requirements for the degree consist of 30 course credits, with a minimum of three course credits each in History, Systematic Theology, and Pastoral Theology, two course credits each in Old Testament and New Testament, and four course credits in Field Education.
