Fellowships

Faculty of Divinity doctoral Students (PhD and DMin) are eligible for junior fellowships that are given out on a competitive basis. Each applicant will be considered for a fellowship with Trinity College. There are up to five fellowship packages awarded each year valued at least $10,000. Criteria on which awards are based include academic merit, year in program (with preference given to students engaged in course work) and contribution to the community. Fellows are expected to participate in College activities as Divinity representatives. Applicants should forward a letter stating qualifications to the Dean of Divinity by May 1 each year. These fellowship packages are renewable for up to four years of study, provided the winner makes normal progress towards the doctorate. PhD students are also eligible for teaching assistantships.
