Graham Library Laptops
Laptops may not be taken from the Library or left unattended
The Graham Library has four laptops for loan. They are loaded with Microsoft Office and internet access.
Laptops may be borrowed during the hours the library is open, on a first come, first served basis. They are due at closing time (4:45, 9:45, or 11:45). There is a fee of $5.00/hour for late returns. They are available for in-library use only.
The laptops are set up to print to the Graham Library printers.
You must not leave laptops unattended in the library at any time. If the laptop is stolen while signed out to you, you will be responsible for the full replacement value.
If a staff member observes that the laptop has been left unattended while in your possession, you may no longer be eligible to borrow laptops from the Graham Library.
You may be charged up to $2000.00, if you lose or damage a laptop. The fine will be determined at the sole discretion of the Circulation Supervisor or their designate, and will not be negotiable.
If you experience problems, bring the laptop immediately to the Circulation Desk. Do not attempt to perform any troubleshooting on it.
- Upon logout, all of your files and information will be permanently deleted. To save your work, you must either: supply your own USB key, email the documents to yourself, or upload them to online storage space such as Google Drive.
The Laptop Sign-Out Waiver must be signed before a laptop computer is checked out.
