Dear Members of the Trinity College Community:
Since my appointment as Provost and Vice-Chancellor in July of 2014, I have had ongoing conversations with the many different parts of the Trinity community and have worked with the Board of Trustees to identify our strengths as a college and the opportunities that lie ahead of us.
This new plan reflects the input compiled from my extensive consultations and builds upon the framework of the College’s last strategic plan in 2009. Our strengths lie in our people, our program and our place. Enhancing the student experience is at the heart of our ambitions for Trinity and focusing on these three key pillars will help to guide our efforts as we go forward. I am pleased to say that these efforts have already begun in many of the priority areas, but we also know that we have much more work to do together to ensure that Trinity College is the best that it can possibly be.
With my sincerest gratitude, I thank each member of the community who engaged in conversations that helped to shape this plan. Together, I am confident that we can make Trinity an even better place to live, work and learn.
Provost & Vice-Chancellor
