In Memoriam: André Séguinot

Dear Members of the Trinity Community,

I am saddened to let you know of the death of Fellow Emeritus Prof. André Séguinot who passed away in Montreal on January 28, 2019. André retired in 1994 after teaching French at Trinity for nearly 30 years, including being the Director of the Language Lab.

His former colleauge Professor Emeritus Andrew Oliver shares this message: “André spent his entire professional career in the French department at Trinity. He was an excellent teacher and an accomplished musician and performer (guitarist/singer). He will be sorely missed by those of us fortunate enough to call him our friend.”

André made a great contribution to Trinity College during his many years here and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.
