They are passionate champions of the interconnected issues of human health and environmental sustainability. In addition to creating the Lawson Centre for Child Nutrition at the Faculty of Medicine, their visionary support led to the launch of Trinity College’s innovative Integrated Sustainability Initiative, which incorporates sustainability into academic programs and co-curricular activities and supports the College’s exceptional new building that will be called the Lawson Centre for Sustainability in recognition of their inspirational leadership.

Joannah and Brian Lawson will be presented by Assistant Provost Dr. Jonathan Steels and hooded by Professor Nicole Spiegelaar. They will jointly deliver the Convocation address.
