Members of the Trinity community receive 2020 U of T Arbor Awards

Posted: November 10, 2020

Established in 1989, the Arbor Award is a U of T-wide honour designed to recognize alumni volunteers, as well as friends of the university who have generously committed their time to improve the experience of students, faculty, alumni and staff. This award is the highest honour granted by the University and is given for sustained contributions to specific academic units, such as faculties, colleges or institutes, or for broader contributions to the University at large. The 2020 Arbor Awards are particularly special. Honoured during the COVID-19 pandemic which forced the cancellation of an in-person ceremony, this year’s award recipients reminded us, nonetheless, that we have much to celebrate. They are an inspiration for the entire University of Toronto community during a challenging time.

For 2020, seven exceptional members of the Trinity College community received Arbor Awards. Congratulations to our newest award recipients: Susan Ainley, Hugh Anson-Cartwright, Nina Boric, Matthew Jurczak, William Keel, Lynn McIntyre and Heather Platt.
