Dear Trinity Alumni and Friends:
Today marks the start of Trinity Reunion, the wonderful time of year when alumni of all ages join together to reconnect with classmates and the College. I am especially excited to welcome you to campus as I experience my first Reunion as Provost.
My first year has been full of wonderful encounters as I have gotten to know our exceptional students and had the opportunity to meet so many of you, as well! I continue to be impressed by the commitment of alumni to Trinity and the Trinity experience. This truly is a special place and a special community, of which we can all be immensely proud.
I hope to see many of you at the annual Garden Party on Saturday, May 31 in the quad to celebrate that great Trinity community feeling together!
This year we especially commemorate our honoured years, the 0s and the 5s, but I hope each of you finds a way to connect with the College and your classmates this week – at in-person or virtual events, by taking a quiet moment to revel in your favourite Trinity memory, or by sending in your news to share what you’ve been up to. We want to stay in touch!
Finally, a special message to the graduating class of 2025: welcome to the alumni family! You join thousands of graduates who share in your amazing achievement and your deep connection to Trinity.
Sending best wishes to all of you, near and far! Congratulations and we hope to see you soon.
Happy Reunion!
Nicholas Terpstra
