Welcome back, Trinity students!
We hope your first week back has been off to a great start as you settle back into your classes and the Trinity community.

As a refresher, we have three staff – Ramata, Rae, and Missy – available to connect and help students with their mental health, wellness, and overall wellbeing. Students can book an appointment for any issue – big or small, academic or non-academic! To book a virtual or in-person appointment, connect with Ramata, Rae, and Missy by email or phone. Ramata, Rae, and Missy also host weekly wellness staff drop-in hours where students can connect in-person without an appointment.

This is a friendly reminder that the Trinity Life Quercus Page has been updated to a new format that can help you better navigate events, resources, and more. The Home page will show you Upcoming Events taking place soon, and if you scroll down, you will see a list of other events, resources, and announcements. The last section of this page leads you to wellness resources that can help you navigate your mental health journey. If you click on “Modules” in the left column, you will be able to see more information about academics, course enrolment, financial topics, and other subject matters that students frequently ask about. With these updates, we hope you enjoy navigating this term!
The Abbott Room is a space dedicated to the health and wellness of the Trinity student community. In line with this theme, the space hosts regular events and is open (schedule attached) for students to drop-in and hang out for one hour at a time. Come by to visit soon!
Stay connected with our teams! Follow us on Instagram and Facebook – @ForTrinStudents – to stay up to date on programs and events at Trinity College and U of T. Both platforms are curated by our student staff!
Join OISE student Jordan Weir as they facilitate an hour and a half session that marries mindfulness meditation and creative writing. Jordan holds an MA in Creative Writing from University of Toronto, and they are currently in the MEd Counselling and Psychotherapy program at OISE. Open to all students.
Wellness Hours: hand out with the Wellness and Student Life Programming Assistants.
Mental Health Peer Advisor Hours: hang out with the Senior Mental Health Peer Advisor.
Mindful Moments: learn mindfulness based mediation with Savannah Li.
We will be kicking off the new year with many fun events to connect with your peers and re-engage with your wellness journey! Below is a list of some upcoming events. Information on upcoming events can be found on the Trinity Events Portal, Trinity Life Quercus, @ForTrinStudents and @TrinEats social media accounts, as well as in frequent Wellness Team emails. Some events require sign-up, so we encourage all students to check the Trinity Events Portal.
We look forward to connecting with you this Winter term!
