Trinity’s Wellness Team’s new social media series celebrates and highlights our incredible staff and faculty at the College. The Team hopes by highlighting and honouring the work of our staff and faculty members, our students and community can get to know each other better over the next few months! For February, the Team highlights some Black-identifying staff/faculty – meet Darryl Lowkie, Senior Welcome Desk Team Lead.
Thanks to the Wellness Team’s student-staff member Victoria McCutcheon for working with the team on this initiative.

Wellness Team (WT): What is your role at Trinity College? Darryl Lowkie (DL): As Senior Welcome Desk Team Lead, ensuring that all parcels make their way to the Welcome Desk instead of being left outdoors by couriers is my #1 priority. Second to that, I work on various operational and administrative tasks, including saving all documents before the required Windows upgrades and restart. |

WT: What is your favourite thing about Trinity? DL: My favourite thing about Trinity is the engaged, driven and diverse student body. With the support of the Professors, Academic Dons and CAs, students here have many opportunities to elevate their academic and personal interests to new levels and into meaningful careers. As someone that still has not decided ‘what I want to be when I grow up,’ it’s incredible to see the ambition, achievements and endeavors within this community. Big kudos to the Wellness staff as well for ensuring that support is available at all times and facilitating various uplifting events throughout the year. |
