Trinity College Faculty of Divinity welcomes you to:

Remembering All These Things: Holding Space for Trauma in Liturgy and Life

How can we engage the painful realm of human experience with the love of Christ — within our churches, communities, and our own selves?

In this online seminar, Dr. Nicole Roccas outlines the basic principles of the trauma-informed approach and explores some of the ways we might begin to understand it in the context of contemporary Christian life, liturgy and ministry.

Wednesday, January 18, 2023: 2 pm to 3:30 pm ET – online via Zoom: https://bit.ly/3k2iF0V

All are welcome.

Please note: the seminar “Renewing Christian Ministry and Mission: The Living Tradition of the Church” originally scheduled for January 18 in the Combination Room has been cancelled due to speaker availability.

With the support of the Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative, the Faculty of Divinity at Trinity College has established the “Reimagining Contemporary Ministries for a Renewing Church” project to better prepare creative pastoral leaders to meet the complex needs of the contemporary church and rapidly changing society. As part of the project, we are holding a regular series of seminars and workshops on topics connected to the core themes of creative and flexible leadership, missional ministry, and welcoming people into the rich diversity of the church. These events are open to all students and faculty at Trinity College and across the Toronto School of Theology, to alumni and friends of the college, and as continuing education opportunities for those in church ministry.
