Instruction Support for Faculty

Librarians from the John W. Graham Library can provide your students with orientations to the library, and they can also deliver discipline specific information literacy and research skills workshops. Sessions can include:

  • searching library catalogues
  • searching subject specific journal indexes
  • searching the web efficiently
  • evaluating a variety of information resources
  • finding statistics and data sources
  • citing sources and using citation styles
  • using citation managers

Course-specific library instruction, including custom research guides, is also offered. Course pages on Quercus can be customized by adding links to appropriate online library resources.
