Dear Class of 8T8:
It’s hard to believe that our 25th Reunion is upon us. It feels like only yesterday that we were together for Convocation. We hope you will be able to make it for all or part of the Reunion Weekend. We understand that is not easy for many people who do not live in the City, but we believe it will be worth the effort.
On Friday, May 31, we will be having an early evening get-together at The Oxley-121 Yorkville. Come by for a beer after work and catch-up with your fellow classmates.
The main event is on Saturday, June 1st at Trinity College. The annual Garden Party will be held in the Quad and Strachan Hall starting at 6pm. Tickets are only $25 and include a light dinner in the newly renovated Strachan Hall. We are hoping they’ll have the Turkey Tetrazzini!
To let us know you are coming, register online at springreunion.utoronto.ca or by sending in the enclosed form.
Class of 8T8 Gift
This year, the honoured classes are supporting the Strachan Hall Restoration Project. The Strachan Hall Project is Trinity’s most ambitious initiative in recent years, and involved the restoration of Strachan Hall and a complete renovation of the kitchen and servery at a cost of over $4 million. The students have committed $300,000 of their own funds. We are being challenged by the other classes to raise $5,000 for a table in Strachan Hall. Our table will be inscribed as a gift from the “Class of 8T8”. We hope that you can help out with a donation, remember any size donation is greatly appreciated.
Can’t make it?
We would appreciate your help spreading the word on Reunion – forward this letter to a fellow classmate or ask them to check out the Trinity College specific details at http://www.trinity.utoronto.ca/alumni/events/2events-reunion.html.
Lastly, we’d love to keep in touch electronically, so send your email address to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us directly so that we can keep you in the loop on future events and news.
See you at Reunion.
