Wedding Information - Trinity College Chapel
Trinity College Chapel has prepared the guidelines in these pages to provide clear answers to frequently asked questions
The chapel at Trinity College is a consecrated church in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto and an integral part of the college. There are, therefore, canonical laws as well as college regulations that govern worship services in this space.
The chaplain encourages couples to connect with a specific priest or other minister in preparation for marriage, and can also make referrals if couples have not yet chosen an officiant.
Please note that the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games will be held in Toronto in July and August 2015. Two of the sports venues are Varsity Stadium immediately north of Trinity College and the Back Campus immediately south. From Sunday, June 29 to Wednesday, August 20 we are anticipating road closures which will severely restrict traffic flow and require security clearance for access to Trinity College. In addition, there will be large numbers of athletes, coaches and spectators in the area, and considerable noise around games times. By signing an application form for a wedding during this period, you acknowledge that you have been informed of this situation and will not hold the College responsible for any disruption to your wedding arising from the Pan Am/Parapan Games.
