Academic Dons

Your academic dons are graduate and professional students at the University of Toronto. They are available to all Trinity students, both resident and non-resident, for consultations on your academic studies throughout your time here.

Everyone needs some expert support from time to time. If you have questions about your studies—about your readings, essays, exam preparation, problem sets, how to improve your grades, courses to take etc.—you can email a Don of your choice to arrange a consultation. Your Dons will use their subject expertise to help you out, no matter what your question is. Dons also offer seminars related to your courses and general academic skills. Look out for information about these in your email or social media inboxes.

Your Dons are not just academics. They understand how your personal and academic lives are closely intertwined, and have received extensive training to support students in their accessibility, equity and health needs. They’re ready to provide guidance, support and resources for any personal situations you may be managing. They aim to act as patient, non-judgemental mentors to make sure that you are ready to face the challenges of undergraduate life.

If you have a question or would like to make an appointment, please contact any of the Dons by using the contact information below.
