Members of the Trinity community are invited to join in the services of Holy Week and Easter in the Trinity College Chapel (6 Hoskin Avenue). All are welcome.
March 27, 2024 at 8 pm: Tenebrae service with the choir – Latin for shadows or darkness – held by candlelight.
This service is to remember the sombre events in Jesus’ life, from His exuberant entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through the night of His burial on Good Friday. The chapel choir will sing music, including Gregorio Allegri’s famous ‘Miserere’ and settings by Healey Willan.
Note: there is no Evensong service on March 27.
March 28, 2024 at 8 pm: Maundy Thursday – Holy Eucharist and stripping of the altar
March 29, 2024 at 10 am: Good Friday Liturgy
March 30, 2024 at 9 pm: Easter Vigil – Holy Eucharist with the lighting of the Paschal fire
March 31, 2024 at 4 pm: Easter Sunday – Holy Eucharist
